The logo has a profound meaning for us. At first Rafael Vila decided to use a Lion, in representation of the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, used in Revelation 5 to describe Christ. "Revelation 5 is one of my many favorites scriptures in the written Bible. Is the revelation of the true nature of Christ, not the Son of Man (Jesus of Nazareth)... one who is like the Son of Man (Christ) as John declared in the chapter 1 in the same book of Revelation" said Rafael Vila.

- Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, "Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?" But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals. - Revelations 5:1-5

But then while he was gather all the information needed to create the Media Kit for the Magazine, our Graphic Department came up with an idea that blow our heads off, The flaming Eagle with the sphere of the World in the back.

"When I saw the image I was impressed, it was an accident, we were designing something to impress everyone who see it as a marketing strategy, but at the end was a revelation of God of how he sees us through Christ" appointed Rafael. "My wife was in shock when she saw it. She said to me, - definitely this should be the logo for the Magazine - ". It was 3 o'clock in the morning in May 20th 2008.

As soon the image was designed the revelation of what it means also came out and is as follow.

The Fire
The fire is used in the Bible many times, as in the Old as in the New Testament as purification through a spiritual mean. Like the picture from the melted gold, the silver and the oil. Also the fire is something you can't grab with your hands but powerful, and though is not tangible you can feel it, and can also burn you. In nature the fire is the beginning of something new, a new beginning. Though for us is harmful and lethal, also is essential in our daily life.

But that's not the only characteristic of the fire used by Jesus to explained the Kingdom of Heaven, but was used by King David in Psalm 119 to describe the Word of God, not directly as fire, but as a lamp or a light who guides us through any situation.

The Eagle
The eagle was used by many prophets including Isaiah to describe the constantly renewal of the spirit and body for those who loved God. Is not strange to us who has been in the Church for many years the figure of the Eagle as the fulfillment of God redemption in us through Jesus.
As many of us know, the Eagle renew itself through a tough process. Fasting for days, knock herself up until looses her pick, nails, and feathers. Then wait hiding in the dark, renewing the view also, until a new pick, nail and feathers grow up again. Then the test starts, the Eagle will put in trial the new strength. Waits until a storm approaches in the high hide out, when the storm hits then she fly away against the wind, testing her wings. The pressure and strong wings impulse her high above the storm. Far up high, she waits until the storm is clear.

Then she will test her eyes. She will look for a pray from that altitude, when a pray is spotted then she start the drastic descending, so fast that would put in jeopardy the life of the Eagle if she made a mistake. She controls her fall until she grasp the pray, testing the nails and legs strength. At the end, the last test, the pick. The Fast is over. And a new creature has risen.

The Logo
In the logo the Eagle represents the restored man or woman by the grace of God, the fire represents the purifying Holy Spirit that works in us until the purpose is fulfilled. The burning fire around the Eagle represents the presence of God in our lives, and how He shows through us, functioning as a lamp for others for guidance.

The Implication
The logo implies that every man and woman has been saved since the moment that Jesus died in the cross. But as the picture describe about the Eagle, each of us has a duty to test our lives in honor to God. Which it means that the grace of God was our salvation, but makes us responsible to let the light of God shines through us for the redemption of many others.

Once the grace of God saved us, then we started a new life in the Kingdom of Heaven. Not in a far away galactic Kingdom, but the one established by Jesus when raised as Christ. “The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand”. Then as we live our lives we are living witnesses of the power of redemption through Christ, that it shows as love and respect for others. Allowing to God speak through us and from us. God Today is in us. Christ lives in us, and is the burning fire that consumes us and purifies us. The reason why all our achievements came from Heaven, so the honor and glory belongs to Him who loves us.

That’s why GTFN is looking to find what makes us one as Christ and God is one. Not starring in our differences but in the Christ that lives in each of us, the same Christ that makes us His Church.

Be Blessed.
